Hok-si-la, Lake City- Dicke Family

i absolutely adore this family. i'm always so happy when i get to see sweet babies grow and boy, Connor just has the best personality that has really started to shine! i can't believe he's one already though! Kristina had a great idea of heading out to Hok-si-La beach in Lake City to capture these and some of my favorites!

Although Alex will say he's not pumped about photos, or shopping for clothes for photos... you can't tell. especially in the photo below. how he's looking at his son is so precious.

Kristina, you were brilliant when thinking about this location! Hok-si-La beach in Lake City ended up being perfect even with mayflies that day. i can't wait to print a few for my office too of your lovely family! 

gorgeous ladies beauty photographs- River Falls

i was beyond thrilled when Danielle mentioned that her mom was looking for photos of the three girls in their family. some of my favorite.. beauty photographs, and even more so when all the women are beautiful both inside and out. We scoped out River Falls for some locations and found some flowers and urban area. perfection! here's a few of my favorites. 

i absolutely love how infectious these girls' laughs and smiles are. they've always been beautiful women, and i felt right at home around them, laughing and having a seriously fun time! 

one of my favorite things about them (which i told them already) is their relationship. They're real, have fun and you can tell they love one another. bold honesty and all :) 

They can do it all! serious, cute giggling, i couldn't stop clicking. 

i had Betty jump in for a few with her girls too.. i couldn't resist! 

and to no surprise.. she had the serious smirk down too and they all made each other laugh which made for some wall-worthy beautiful photographs. 

when i finally stopped clicking in that beautiful field we found, we headed downtown and switched outfits! thanks creepy alleys.. you were perfect.

i am sitting here incredibly excited to see such happiness in photographs and i can't wait to even print some of these for my office!

Beauty Photography in Minneapolis

Good morning gorgeous! (or handsome men.) i have been so excited to share just a few of the beauty images from earlier this summer. Glamour is still one of my favorite things to photograph and sometimes women aren't quite up for it.. but i urge you to try it! the ones i did in my coral dress.. (if you forgot click HERE to see them again) made me feel so confident, and now they're going to be printed for my new house! you have photographs of kids, pets, weddings, engagement.. and sometimes just our significant other.. so it's time for YOU. i'm thinking someday, my kids will really appreciate them and cherish those photographs. 

this is all natural light.. as soon as i left.. i purchased the same type of curtain to use for future photo shoots. it's just so lovely and light! 

what can i even say? perfection. she's absolutely stunning. and it was such a fun shoot! she had some of the most beautiful outfits to change into! 

She's lovely inside and out and i'm so glad we were able to get those photographs! 

whether you choose and outdoor location, to get a hotel room or even right in your home.. they all can be special! we chose to photograph right in their bedroom and it created such an intimate feel, that will always be cherished.. their home together.

Brent and Keisha Lunning- Minnesota Farm Wedding!

I don't even know where to start bragging about this couple. I've known Keisha since i was little, and she was always the bubbly outgoing gorgeous woman you see her on her wedding day. I had the pleasure of meeting Brent at another wedding, and from day one even though i'm so far away, i could see how crazy he is about her. Her day was absolutely one of my favorites; i laughed, cried, and sang all day with friends and family! I couldn't get enough of all the details.. not to mention, keisha made them herself!- the bouquet, signs, you name it, she made it. i'm so happy i got to be a part of their absolutely perfect day and celebrate all night dancing.. and yelling at the bridesmaids when we were trying to get the "love" photo near the bottom ;)

it's always so special getting ready in the home you grew up in. 

All day was full of beautiful moments. Keisha is extremely close to her parents, and the tears and joy shared between them made me cry all day. luckily, i can hide behind my camera. 

and don't forget brent! what a stud! and something so wonderful, both his dad and keisha's dad wore a white tux with purple. could this day get more perfect!?

their first look also brought me to tears.. the huge smiles and giggles from brent and keisha.. and then screams from the windows of the bridesmaids watching. 
Keisha even did her own makeup and hair. i can't believe how amazing she is! the serious face below, is rare for this beauty but WOW she did it so well! 

the cute bridesmaids who have had to put up with me before. and always look adorable! i have so much fun with you all! 

we went on a back road with the whole wedding party and their party bus.. SO much fun before the reception started! and maybe some weird bus photos happened. maybe.

there wasn't a detail not thought of, and the whole day was so full of beauty both in all her hard work, and in the love they have for one another.

Ryan and Hailey Liffrig wedding- St. James Minnesota

They met in college, when Hailey had noticed Ryan a few times, she finally got up the courage to talk to him while out one weekend, and the rest... is history. I loved hearing all the details about their story and how confident she was to tell Ryan exactly how she felt. 

Their wedding day was nothing short of perfection. It started with some rain drops in the morning, but stopped when we needed it to. The ladies got ready at the River House Guest Ranch in St. James Minnesota where the reception would be too; it was a vintage dream. Hailey had thought of every detail and had a beautiful tent reception. 

Ryan and Hailey, thank you for being so fun on your big day!- your family and friends did great for photos and i can't believe with the crazy things they had in mind too, i loved it!
