Tara and Jed- trash the dress on the farm

we couldn't have asked for a better evening! it started out a little scary, raining like crazy so last minute we changed up our plans, Tara knew someone with this incredible farm, and old cars.. i was in heaven.

 

it ended up better than we had planned! and it's a photographers dream when they come prepared. Tara even had her makeup done for this day. She's always stunning, but it was just beautiful! It was so easy going, and Jed did great! as long as he got to kiss on Tara a little bit. Though i couldn't help but focus on her in her perfect wedding dress.

Tracy and Sam- trash the dress on the farm

Tracy and Sam were just married in February and she had the fabulous idea of doing some trash the dress sessions with her husband her friend tara too! if you didn't see the two girls being absolutely gorgeous, click here to see the sneak peek! 

It's always so much fun photographing a couple for the first time. Learning how the interact and how they show love, and i have to say.. sam did SO good. yup he was a complete ham for the camera. He completely adores you  :) but who wouldn't!? gorgeous girl! 

So here's a few of the two of them! and by the way.. your feet look so cute! love the bare feets! yup. feets. 

haha and please note bernard. (the cat right below the couple) not to take away from Tracy and Sam BUT this poor kitty had to drag his sweet little feet, and he just loved attention, so we named him Bernard, and honestly he just made himself at home, went in front of the camera and looked up. we had no intention of including him. he loved the camera too 

i absolutely love their smiles here. luckily i brought a long a good friend who knew the couple too, so whether they were laughing at him or me, i didn't care! i had so much fun photographing you both! 

vintage outdoor wedding!

I have so many wonderful families that take care of me when i'm home, and this family always has been there for me! i spent so much time the day before the wedding just catching up with everyone and soaking in all of the love they have. They even got out the chips and dip as soon as i got there. they definitely know me. and i love them so much. 

This sneak peek i couldn't resist showing more of the getting ready shots. Annie decided to get ready at her grandmother's place. I even got to catch the first glimpse her grandmother saw of annie in her dress! 

can you tell they just had a ton of fun even beforehand getting ready? even when the tears started to run :) Thank you Annie and Ben for letting me photograph your beautiful day! i had so much fun with everyone and you had such GORGEOUS details! The rain held off for perfect timing.

Family time on the farm!

This beautiful family was so much fun to photograph and they had the CUTEST tractor for the kids to stay busy with. i fell in love right away with their kiddos and really loved their son's name too! (murphy!) 

You can see one of my candid favorites too of Maggie and her son. Just hugging on him a little bit. And she looks absolutely gorgeous. as always there are tons more to come, but don't forget to click on the image if you want to see more detail.

Engagement photos on a beautiful trail

These two are absolutely amazing together. I've known Andy for quite a while now considering he's my best friend's brother! and i had the joy of meeting his gorgeous fiance just last month. I can't express how much fun i had photographing them, the whole day was full of mostly us girls talking and figuring out all the people we know in common. Kirsten and Andy had the idea to go down to this beautiful lake and trail area and it was a perfect location!

 

I love when couples think of a location that is special to them, but then to be this beautiful! 

We actually started our session at como zoo but i was so in love with this site that i'm sorry.. you'll just have to wait til the full post to see the rest! Thank you Andy and Kirsten, i loved my time with you two!
