Murray family photos at Floyd Lamb Park

The Murray Family is another confirmation of why i absolutely love what i do!  Chrissy emailed me a little over a month ago, and we connected right away and i couldn't WAIT until this shoot! She came up with some fantastic ideas and it all went smoothly!
Their baby boy Eli was just too adorable, so cute and full of smiles, he put up with the camera for over an hour... impressive! i fell in love with him way too quickly. :)
Shante and Chrissy are some fans of the Cowboys... so we started with jerseys! and a little Eli football of course and then on to bubbles and including their cute puppy too!
i could go on and on about this amazing family. One reason Chrissy and i connected was because of our shared faith, and it's always so encouraging to meet a believer. Instantly with her, they were no longer a client, but someone i feel close to! so our meet up for photo exchange might have to be a coffee date or something! bummer! ;) so here's a few photographs from our time together!

i shared this image on fb ealier, but i just can't take credit for the love here. Shante squeezed his beautiful family, and i like to think Eli was squeezing so tight too that his cute face squished!
i'm so thankful i was able to photograph your family! i am still amazed at how good Eli did! when he was done with photos he didn't cry, it was just sleepy time. you have such a lovely family, and it encouraged my whole week. Your family has such a calmness and love you make others feel when they're around you.

Alex, Kristina, & baby Connor (family photos on a hike!)

These two are just so cute together! i can't say enough about how fabulous Kristina looks after having baby Connor!
I grew up in school with Alex, and i love seeing friends becoming fathers. it's beautiful and crazy. Alex and Kristina have been together since our senior year in high school and they're crazy for each other! I had to add the first photo, after i found out alex isn't much for PDA so after that..... i made them kiss a lot. That explains most of the cute laughs between the two of them.
Alex found this perfect spot for his gorgeous wife and adorable baby boy, and it was a good 15 minute hike up a hill to get there, and it was completely worth it. we ended just in time before the poured and stormed. go us!
so here's a few of our session together!

it was such a fun shoot, so thank you both for letting me photograph your growing family! and this last photo right above.. seriously kristina, you're kicking it! perfect.
i loved being able to see your beautiful home, and spend some time with you, catching up and of course meeting Connor. he's absolutely precious. There are more photos of just him, so you'll see those soon!

Memorial Hill Park- Brown eyed girls

i was more than excited when Asheley told me she was in Minnesota the same time i was! we both grew up in the same small town, but have moved away in the past years, and since she moved i've seen photos of her absolutely beautiful girls and always wanted to photograph them! We went up to Memorial Hill Park and spent a little time up there before it got too chilly. It was so cold, but the girls did great! so here's a sneak peek of Teagan & Karragan

i had to add the one in below. beautiful mama reaching out to her baby girl.
we got a few just "mama and me" type photos, which i loved!
i couldn't not fall in love with them right away! adorable outfits, beautiful girls and put up with the camera! thank you Asheley for letting me photograph your girls, and some with you too! (and Aubrey and Ethan for helping with those smiles we got) ---- two of asheley's siblings.
you all were fabulous, and it was so great to catch up with you all again! but now, i miss those sweet girlies already.

Stone arch bridge Christmas photos- sarah and tyler

i don't know where to start! there are so many things i want to say about Tyler and Sarah. it was such an incredible morning, even though it was pretty chilly. As soon as i jumped in the car on the way to the Stone arch Bridge we didn't stop talking. Sarah and i were close when we were younger, so there so many things to catch up on! It was only the second time i met tyler, so i was able to see really how these two interact, how they love on one another and have fun tougher. And it was perfect.
They told me they haven't had photos really taken since their wedding, over 4 years ago! Tyler did an absolutely amazing job at making Sarah laugh, even without instructed, in other words… a perfect model. So here's a few sneak peek photos of our time together capturing photos for Christmas!

Sarah and Tyler are adopting two kids from Ethiopia, and they're ready for their little ones to come! They started the adoption process thinking it would take about 2 years and hoping to have then in their arms by this Spring! Wanting to include the little ones, we decided on some cupcakes representing both of them. they were so beautiful, i hated to have the cupcakes ruined, but they did a nice little smash! followed by a car ride with sarah not having wiped off any frosting… it was awesome.

It's such a wonderful time catching up with childhood friends, meeting their spouses and seeing the incredible things they're doing to serve. i had such a great morning, feeling completely refreshed, encouraged and it began a day that i felt so blessed full of joy from these two. Thank you both! i can't wait for part two.. when the kids are here!

Miller Family photos

I had the opportunity this summer to photograph some family photos for the Miller family. i have got to say, it was an absolute blast! I went out to their farm, and we got the photos done right before some rain came in. They were having a reception for Joe and Darcie who had just gotten married, and wanted some snapshots before the party began!
The whole time they were having fun with each other, laughing and making me feel more than welcome. i even got a tour of Eileen's beautiful home! I have got to say, love the setup office, right off their house. Gorgeous yard too!
you might recognize Tara who had the dress the trash session this summer too! if you don't remember, check it out again HERE

As you can tell, they had just a little bit of fun together!
Thank you all for letting me photograph your wonderful family!
