Floyd Lamb Park- a perfect location for family

We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful morning at Floyd Lamb Park for family photos! we got there nice and early so it wasn't too hot, and although the kids seemed tired at first, they did PERFECT! so many gorgeous smiles and giggles. This family is from Texas, so when they showed up in their cowboy boots and we started by the white fence... i thought it was a great fit! 

This gorgeous mama of three helped out so much getting them to smile and i had so much fun adventuring around finding great spots!

we were able to get lots of different combinations and walk to a few more locations. seriously, these flowers! so pretty! 

some of my favorites are the spontaneous images when giggles and hugs happened. I'm so happy we were able to make it work out, and even though it was early, they turned out so great! 

Strauss Family- Memorial Hill, Red Wing

I was so excited to photograph Andy, Kelsey, and baby Ellouise. She's such a perfect blessing and a complete doll! It was such a wonderful time, i was able to see their gorgeous little family at a wedding too, so i got double time to see Ellouise! 

i love how much Andy and Kelsey are absolutely in love and adore her. It's beautiful, and you're such wonderful parents!

it was a bit windy that day, but it always just adds more adventure and plus..  i don't have to worry about plugging in a blow dryer like i prefer ;) so it was a lovely shoot and i'm so blessed to know such a fabulous family. 

CJ, Rosella, and baby Astoria at the Como Zoo!

i've been so excited to share this absolutely beautiful family! Cousins of mine, and we planned to meet at the Como Zoo in St. Paul and even though it was a rainy day, the conservatory worked perfectly for their photo session. it was my first time being able to meet their little beauty, Astoria! so here's a few of this sweet family! 

how could i not zoom in on these cute booties! 

Astoria is already just adored by her parents! she's just gorgeous! 

she's such a little sweetie, and already has those kissable cheeks! 

we couldn't have picked a better location and time! Astoria did so good and slept almost the entire time and was such a good girl opening her eyes at the end! congratulations again, and i hope we can get together again soon!

Peterson Family- plummer house

Going back to Minnesota is always such a huge blessing! i get to catch up with families and see their kiddos growing up! Laura and Josh decided to meet at the Plummer House in Rochester, and it was perfect! just enough room for Avery and Lily to run around and for us to capture some great moments! 

This photo below i love!- Avery wanted to go play and so they had a little tickle fight to make her giggle. they did so great!

Minnesota Photography- Horsman family in the sand!

You might remember this cute family from other shoots. Ayden last summer and even Luke and Nicole's wedding! Nicole had this great idea to shoot on this sand hill. She said it reminded her of Vegas areas i shoot.. and it's brilliant! i can't believe i hadn't shot there before. i may be stealing this location now for more! 

You can't tell, but it was a chilly morning, but they held through especially Ayden when his kick drum came out! (him and dad play) 

i couldn't resist all the adorable hugging, and kisses for his puppy too! 

He looks SO sweet here, he was really kicking up sand, but i like how it looks! 

this gorgeous mama has been working hard running and eating healthier so she wanted just a few of her! she looks so great! 

it looks like we're on a toasty beach, and we'll just let you think that. but i loved their feet and their shoes! 

it's always incredible to catch up with friends from high school, and see their kiddos grow. Thank you for meeting me even though noses were running! you all did so great, and i loved our time together!
