features Sunday, November 25, 2012 at 12:20PM over thanksgiving, Brandon and i got to travel to san diego (with my mom and her husband!) it was such a wonderful trip. there are tons of photos of the puppies, but i'll save those for instagram.
i wanted to share a few from our trip and then some of our Christmas photos, which i'm so excited about, i just ordered the Christmas cards today too, which turned out pretty cute!
This thanksgiving, i was so thankful to be able to spend some extra time with my husband and our ridiculous puppies. My mom got to meet them for the first time finally and loved them! :) so thankful to see my mom and her husband and take a trip to a truly beautiful area of California. Also for cheaper hotels with free breakfast and allow pets with no extra charge.

California, family, personal, travel Saturday, November 17, 2012 at 12:51PM yeah! i wanted to show you all The Las Vegas Food and Beverage Professional magazine that came out! i had the opportunity to photograph the world food championship this year, thanks to a wonderful friend and creative director of the magazine Juanita!
It was such a fun and new experience, and shooting the cover too! The end of the magazine, i had the chance to have an ad in, i'm so thankful for the people i know here, and couldn't have had a better time.. and better food! :)

Monday, November 12, 2012 at 9:15PM Evelyn and Julian were perfect subjects for her idea of Alice in wonderland! It's their tradition to get photos around Halloween time together. it's absolutely adorable. we found a park that worked really well, even though it was warmer than we expected, he did great in the bunny costume!

im so thrilled with how they all turned out, and how perfect the park looked for a little more whimsical look! i purchased most of the cute details at savers, and now.. shhh.. they're around my house! After seeing this tradition, Evelyn, i think i might steal it when i have kiddos! you look so fabulous :)
do any of you have some traditions that you have to do every year? i'll tell you one of mine for Christmas. Amy grant Christmas music while decorating. it just has to happen, in fact i listened to amy grant while i went for a run yesterday. yes, it pumps me up somehow.

Monday, November 12, 2012 at 3:26PM One of the reasons i went back to Minnesota when i did was so i could attend Andy and Kirsten's wedding! If you don't remember, i had the pleasure of shooting their engagement photos! check them out again HERE! This time i came prepared with my camera (of course) but got to spend the time with friends and family. My best friend is the groom's sister, and my brother was a groomsmen. So not only did i get to see this fabulous couple, but spend time with other close friends, it was perfect. I also got to meet Kirsten's twin Jessica (in the pic below!) and yup, i couldn't help but love her entire family! i should've known after meeting kirsten the first time too and thinking how amazing she was!

i wasn't able to put my camera down, there was so many amazing details, laughter, and beauty this whole day. i'm so glad i was able to be there for your special day, and yes. i cried.
