Ty and Kelsey Schulz- Minnesota Wedding

This Minnesota August wedding was so extremely beautiful! It was a toasty day, but we found a ton of shade under the trees, the ceremony in Zumbrota and the reception at the Rochester Golf and country club.

Kelsey's dress absolutely fit her personality and her perfectly. gorgeous, bold, stands out, lovely and everyone wanted to talk about how wonderful it is!  The entire day was full of fun details, surprises, and most importantly; lots of love and laughter. 

Kelsey made these cute pink sandals for all the bridesmaids after the ceremony for a more comfy look. i asked her to make me a pair ;) 

Their whole wedding day was full of so much joy and thoughtfulness. Ty has always treated her like a princess, and i got to see just a glimpse into his romantic side with this wonderful idea. She woke up to find in her suitcase.. a ticking timer.. along with it.. a card. aside from the heartfelt words, he explained every 30 minutes there would be a gift for her! (uhhhh WAY too cute) the gifts ranged from silly to cute.. and her last gift.. a bracelet to wear for her day. it was perfection! and these two put me to tears with how much love they have for one another. (luckily i can cry while holding my camera up to cover my eyes) 

their first look was adorable! kelsey even turned back to show off more cuteness ;) 

i couldn't stop photographing her dress. it was so extravagant. the image on the left below, i made a wood print out of for my desk.. so i get to see gorgeous kelsey everyday! 

such perfect pink glasses she found for the girls! i wanted those too! let's be honest.. i wanted lots of the details. 

there were so many moments this entire day, not only between kelsey and ty, but their family. close to their parents, and always hugging on one another. i loved this day! 

and.. the programs. the best programs! i was so impressed. 

after the ceremony, they wanted to include one of their best friends whom they lost, so we went out to pay respect, and really just remember what a wonderful friend he was. 

at the ceremony i was even more in pink heaven. i loved all the details. 5 things you should know about the bride and groom.. the cutest little koozies, and sixlets! yum! 

one more detail were these mr. and mrs. signs. they were perfect for a few photos on the green. and i couldn't believe how sweet kelsey was.. she sent some of these signs all the way to me here in new mexico because she knew i loved them. gosh, what a wonderful gift! 

more of those moments during dances. i wanted to share about 12 of these shots. but i loved watching how much fun they had during their first dance. i smiled way too much. 

and then what.. FIREWORKS! yes, those are real! they told me ahead of time they would be having some but i never expected some of the best ones i've seen.. EVER! i had so much fun photographing them! what a gorgeous end detail to celebrate! 

congratulations again Ty and Kels. i am so thankful i was able to be a part of your day and capture those moments you had together. i immediately felt part of your family, and love seeing you two together as you love on, giggle, and have such a strong friendship. you're such a beautiful couple and i'll be continuing to pray for a wonderful marriage!

Hok-si-la, Lake City- Dicke Family

i absolutely adore this family. i'm always so happy when i get to see sweet babies grow and boy, Connor just has the best personality that has really started to shine! i can't believe he's one already though! Kristina had a great idea of heading out to Hok-si-La beach in Lake City to capture these and some of my favorites!

Although Alex will say he's not pumped about photos, or shopping for clothes for photos... you can't tell. especially in the photo below. how he's looking at his son is so precious.

Connor.. ahhh too adorable! love his little looks.

Kristina, you were brilliant when thinking about this location! Hok-si-La beach in Lake City ended up being perfect even with mayflies that day. i can't wait to print a few for my office too of your lovely family! 

Five things.

Now that we're mostly settled in to our new house, and life is slowing down at least for a couple weeks, i've had some time to gather a list of the wonderful new products and findings.  i've had so many favorite things piling up lately, i just had to share! beauty products, food, shoes, and decor. 

 

ONE- Victoria's Secret Pink Collection: Warm and Cozy. seriously, i'm having a slight obsession with this scent. i've been looking for new body scrub and perfume and found this one. then i realized why i like it.. it has a touch of vanilla..but it's so yummy! so if you're looking for something new, check out the PINK collection, they have tons of variety! plus added bonus.. i really like the design. yes, that plays into it. don't pretend it doesn't when you pick up new scents to check out.

TWO- Rudis Gluten-Free bakery. i've been trying a few GF bread out, and some are just gross. i'm still looking around, but found this and really enjoy it! so check it out, most grocery stores have these options. and i got a great secret from the family i stay with (the warrens) toast it, it doesn't crumble as much. also i still try to only use one slice for sandwiches, i still look crazy but i then fill up on the veggies and yummy toppings. i still have such a long way to go to clean eat even 80% but i'm slowly learning and feeling good about the food i'm eating. 

THREE- Nican mug. Get it?-ni-can. I've been wanting one of these Nikon lens mugs for a while, and brandon surprised me with it the other day! it fits perfectly on my desk, and love having it every morning. although, there is a Nikkor brand.. guess i'll just have to get the 70-200 mm next! 

FOUR- Reef shoes. i found these cute little shoes with the most comfortable insoles possibly ever at a bike shop on the mountain the other day (and yessss i finally got a road bike.. should be in this week! more on that later) so comfortable, cute, and i can wear them for weddings and other shoots. i'm pretty pumped about this find. let's be honest, it has a touch of pink. perfect.

FIVE- Metallic prints. it's hard to tell taking a photo.. of a photo. but i just ordered my first metallic prints; and one panorama and i LOVE it. it works for only some photos but it's a gorgeous little touch to add to some fun photos you really want to pop. Professionally printed on Kodak Endura paper, adds shimmer and vibrant colors with highly reflective glossy finish. i'm not usually for reflective.. or glossy.. but it adds such a fun element to photos and i'll be ordering more soon! if i've taken your photos recently and you're interested.. just ask! i'd be happy to order some for you too!

gorgeous ladies beauty photographs- River Falls

i was beyond thrilled when Danielle mentioned that her mom was looking for photos of the three girls in their family. some of my favorite.. beauty photographs, and even more so when all the women are beautiful both inside and out. We scoped out River Falls for some locations and found some flowers and urban area. perfection! here's a few of my favorites. 

i absolutely love how infectious these girls' laughs and smiles are. they've always been beautiful women, and i felt right at home around them, laughing and having a seriously fun time! 

one of my favorite things about them (which i told them already) is their relationship. They're real, have fun and you can tell they love one another. bold honesty and all :) 

They can do it all! serious, cute giggling, i couldn't stop clicking. 

i had Betty jump in for a few with her girls too.. i couldn't resist! 

and to no surprise.. she had the serious smirk down too and they all made each other laugh which made for some wall-worthy beautiful photographs. 

when i finally stopped clicking in that beautiful field we found, we headed downtown and switched outfits! thanks creepy alleys.. you were perfect.

i am sitting here incredibly excited to see such happiness in photographs and i can't wait to even print some of these for my office!

Beauty Photography in Minneapolis

Good morning gorgeous! (or handsome men.) i have been so excited to share just a few of the beauty images from earlier this summer. Glamour is still one of my favorite things to photograph and sometimes women aren't quite up for it.. but i urge you to try it! the ones i did in my coral dress.. (if you forgot click HERE to see them again) made me feel so confident, and now they're going to be printed for my new house! you have photographs of kids, pets, weddings, engagement.. and sometimes just our significant other.. so it's time for YOU. i'm thinking someday, my kids will really appreciate them and cherish those photographs. 

this is all natural light.. as soon as i left.. i purchased the same type of curtain to use for future photo shoots. it's just so lovely and light! 

what can i even say? perfection. she's absolutely stunning. and it was such a fun shoot! she had some of the most beautiful outfits to change into! 

She's lovely inside and out and i'm so glad we were able to get those photographs! 

whether you choose and outdoor location, to get a hotel room or even right in your home.. they all can be special! we chose to photograph right in their bedroom and it created such an intimate feel, that will always be cherished.. their home together.
